It is designed to be installed in the load side of the breaker. It should always be installed indoor and away from rain and other extreme weather conditions. The cable connector between phase line or neutral line and equipotential bus bar should be as short as possible (Maximum length 0.5m). In order to avoid electromagnetic coupling, the non-protected cable should not be installed in parallel with the protected ones. Power supply in the IN and OUT lines, ground lines should comply with regulatory requirements, and the connection should be short and thick and to ensure that the grounding resistance is less than 10Ω(10 Ohms).
